Katmai/Brooks FallS Bear Adventure
“You Will Tell Stories About This Experience!”
You came to Alaska to see this. Let Us get you there! Katmai National Park.
Katmai National Park and Brooks Falls define Alaska. Popular for a reason, but it takes research and the right partners to ensure the experience is truly memorable. We have the Alaska experience and aircraft to get you there. Our aviation safety record is flawless (FAA Certified) and 30 years in the Alaska environments allows us to be ready for your bear watching adventure of a lifetime.
All Brooks Falls (Katmai National Park) tour experiences are based on a self guided approach using the vast infrastructure established by the National Park Service. Your experience will be structured around Brooks Camp protocols. We understand these programs and will efficiently get you to this region to ensure your day is safe and full of adventure. We are one of the only tour companies with staff that accompanies you from start to finish. This ensures your day is brilliant and takes the stress away. You don’t have to ‘figure it out’ on your own! Choosing the right company with this knowledge base and support is key to an epic adventure. Our all Alaskan staff works hard to ensure all the details are worked out for you and the day is forever memorable. A few things to consider:
- Getting there is half the fun AND… the biggest challenge.
Your enroute flightseeing journey is incredible in itself. Our Alaskan raised pilots know all the great stuff and love showing it off!!…But….the Alaska weather is notorious for ruining plenty of tours and your expectations of a grand adventure. Our aircraft are all-weather, modern turbine powered, and designed for Alaska. Getting “up and above” the often inclimate and bumpy flight conditions is key. (Most tour companies servicing Katmai National Park and Brooks Falls are captive to weather restrictions and will often cancel your trip due to pilot or aircraft limitations.) We fly at higher (and safer) altitudes with experienced Alaska pilots, and the right aircraft. - On the ground logistics can be challenging.
Once arriving at Katmai Brooks Falls the fun continues. However, it can be a busy and confusing area if you don’t have local knowledge. Our support staff never leave you and ensure that local area transfers are smooth and schedules are kept to maximize your bear viewing and tour experience. (Don’t worry we know where the bathrooms are!) We navigate the Park Service rules and regulations so that you don’t have to. As you plan your Alaska adventure choose a partner that knows these challenges and works hard to make for an epic journey.

Bear Safety and Respect for the Environment are Important.
Katmai Bears are legendary. They are powerful, and make no mistake, are wild animals. Sometimes it’s easy to forget just how powerful and unpredictable they can be. You want to feel that energy and excitement, but shouldn’t be scared in the experience. Your guide escorts you to the best and safest watching areas. Surprise encounters (these do happen) or an unruly bear can be trouble for the unescorted. We know the best vantage points and minimize any unsafe encounters. You will be coached in proper etiquettes while engaging the wildlife with their respect as priority. Unfortunately, as Katmai becomes popular, so do the interactions with the uninformed and careless travelers. Choosing Us helps ensure you learn and can come away with knowing you did it all right!
Our Alaskan operated company would be proud to take you on this trip of a lifetime. We understand the nuances and important details that can make for a wonderful experience.
